The goal of the Soweto Community Foundation is to allow children to be creative, active, and inquisitive by providing small scholarships for educational, cultural, musical, or athletic activities and supplies.

Application submission does not guarantee scholarship award. Soweto Community Foundation is not liable for any injury that could occur while recipient is participating in the selected activity.

Every application must be accompanied by a brochure from the activity. The activity brochure should have the name of the contact person(s) for that activity.

Who is eligible?

Children from birth to 19 Preference to children residing in SWLR & Surrounding areas
One scholarship per year  Scholarship’s value up to $100 or more depending on circumstance.

Cultural & Economic Clubs ***  Swimming *** Camping Theater
